Congratulations Jasmin
Special times at Mount Beauty Medical Centre as we celebrated our receptionist Jasmin putting up with us for 15 years. We even had one of our previous partners attend to help celebrate.
Well Done Dr Jeff
Alpine Health announce that Dr. Jeff Robinson will step down as Alpine Health Director of Medical Services in June 2025, after an extraordinary 15 years of dedicated service to the organization and rural healthcare.

Jeff plans to spend more time focusing on the needs of the Mount Beauty Medical Centre, family and other interests, including his continued involvement as Captain of Gundowring Rural Fire Brigade, as well as new opportunities to support rural health care initiatives.
Welcome Back Dr. Anna Baylis
You might remember Anna, she was our student in 2023, and has returned a an intern for a 15 week rotation. We are so proud when students return as doctors.
Filming at MBMC
Did anyone notice a film crew at the Medical Centre and wonder what we were doing?
The Neighbourhood Centre are marketing their “4 Ms Older Persons’ project with the Medical Centre being involved in development of a video with local celebrities Barb and Dick and Dr Laura. The video depicts what people should consider before and during a consultation with their doctor. We look forward to seeing the end result.
Here are some wonderful pictures of the happy celebrities.
The End of an Era
We are really sad to announce that Dr Mark Zagorski has decided that it is time for him to enjoy some rest and leisure time after working at Mount Beauty Medical Centre for over 40 years. Mark has been an integral part of our practice and while we will miss him immensely, we are happy that he will get to spend more time with his family and do the travelling that he and Jane enjoy. Mark’s retirement date is 26th September 2024
Travel Vaccination Appointments
Are you travelling and need vaccination advice?
MBMC doctors can provide advice on travel vaccinations but before you book your appointment, please consider the following:
Allow as much time as possible before you leave. Some advice and vaccinations require planning and lead time.
Look at you itinerary and work out where you will be and for how long. In particular, will you be mainly in cities, small towns, rural areas or national parks?
Have a read about your destinations before you come, it will make things easier for you and your GP to decide what's appropriate.
Book a long appointment. It always takes longer than you think.
Check out the following website for more information:

if you are unsure about anything, feel free to come in for a preliminary appointment to get started.
